Shannon Avenue ImprovementsThe City of West Melbourne piped an open ditch along Shannon Avenue. Erosion from this section of the ditch had been contributing pollution into the M-1 Canal system and the Indian River Lagoon. A baffle box has been constructed at the outlet of the pipe to catch sediment from the 18-acre upstream watershed. |
